An evenly contested contest came to an end as both Kerala Blasters FC and SC East Bengal share the spoils. The young guns prospered well tonight in the Super Sunday and let’s have a look at the player ratings for the latter that happened tonight –

Kerala Blasters FC

Albino Gomes (8) –

Albino has been “The Wall” for Kerala today against East Bengal. If it was not for the timely saves he made, East Bengal would have taken home 3 points.

Nishu Kumar (6.5) –

Nishu Kumar was not as productive as he could or should have been when it came to delivering crosses to the Kerala Blasters attacking third.

B. Koné (6.5) –

Bakary Koné suffered what looks to be a calf injury in the second half of the match. Performance wise, wasn’t as lively as you would expect a player of his pedigree to be.

Costa Nhamoinesu (7) –

Back from suspension, Costa wasn’t able to make much of an impact in today’s game. The player was seen going up front to support the attack but wasn’t quite clinical.

Jessel Carneiro (7) –

Jessel Carneiro was satisfactory in terms of his performance down the left flank.

Rohit Kumar (6) –

Didn’t seem like the player handled his defensive duties well enough, neither could he provide for the attacking to foster up. Was substituted after the first half of the match.

Vicente Gómez (7) –

Might not have failed to impress in the role as a playmaker but there were some silly mis-passes from the player and wasn’t quite productive in terms of attacking.

Facundo Pereyra (7) –

The player just couldn’t provide what was needed for the attacking of the Kerala side to foster up.

Seityasen Singh (6) –

Wasn’t impressive on his outing and didn’t seem like he was doing his job. Was substituted after the first half.

Rahul Kannoly Praveen (6.5) –

The youngster wasn’t upto the mark. The player didn’t make runs in spaces much and couldn’t prove himself to be decent in tonight’s outing.

Gary Hooper (5.5) –

Another poor outing for the striker. He didn’t seem like he fit into the system. Like Pradhyum Reddy (Football United Analyst) mentioned – would’ve scored if he was playing for the East Bengal side.

Substitutes

Jordan Murray (7) –

A much needed change for Kerala Blasters, even though he didn’t score any goals he proved to be a much better option than Hooper in today’s outing.

Sahal Samad (7.5) –

A much awaited comeback by the youngster having provided an assist and created quite a few chances in the game today.

Jeakson Singh (8) –

The Super Sub for Kerala Blasters. Came in for Rohit Kumar, did his defensive duties and didn’t fail to provide the much needed equaliser for Kerala Blasters FC.
