Match Preview – Bengaluru FC vs Kerala Blasters FC; Derby Eve

This infamous rivalry needs no introduction. It has grown much outside the pitch. Purportedly known as the West Block Blues versus Manjappada. The Blues and the Yellow Army will be locking horns today at the Southern Derby which will be the 27th match of the Indian Super League.

Kerala Blasters have not won a single match in ISL this season and they will have to make sure that they are extremely instrumental as Cido is out on an injury and Costa Nhamoinesu has bagged a double yellow card for himself in the previous match.

A much tensed Carles Cuadrat with a lot to prove this time will look to continue his unbeaten streak with Bengaluru FC and bag a second win in the ISL.

The 3 Indians to look out for will be Udanta Singh, Ashique Kuruniyan from Bengaluru FC and Nishu Kumar from Kerala Blasters FC.
Kuruniyan has been consistently instrumental for Bengaluru FC and Udanta bagged a goal for them in the previous match.
Nishu Kumar will be looking to face his former side with a lot of emotions and moreover, the player was instrumental for the Blasters side in their previous match.

The 3 foreigners to look-out for will be Juanan and Paartalu for Bengaluru FC and Vicente Gómez for Kerala Blasters FC.
Juanan and Paartalu have been of great significance for the Blues as Juanan is the top scorer for Bengaluru FC at the moment with Paartalu assist in all of them.
Vicente Gómez stood out for Blasters in their previous game, getting in more into the attacking third, and made a mark in the previous game by scoring the solitary goal for them in their previous game. He will be looking to notch things up in today’s match.

There are no new injuries or unavailabilities.
