Hyderabad FC and Bengaluru FC are going to have an intriguing clash today at the Tilak Maidan Stadium in Vasco.

Hyderabad FC has been unbeaten since the start of 2021, in their last three games they have scored only one goal, had three draws and have kept two clean sheets. Even after these results, they have been in the top four in these last three games. So, they will be looking forward to winning this game and keep their top-four position safe.

Bengaluru FC has not won a single game in their last seven matches. They have lost their winning form after Carles Cuadrat and the club parted ways. They will be trying to get back to their winning form with this game.

3 INDIANS TO LOOK OUT FOR

Sunil Chhetri, Halicharan Narzary and Mohammad Yasir are the three Indian players to look out for.

Sunil Chhetri, the Indian Football Team captain needs no introduction, in every season he can be seen as the top Indian goalscorer easily but this time he has another Indian player on top with him. Sunil Chhetri is a key goalscorer for Bengaluru FC along with Cleiton Silva.

Halicharan Narzary is in the top Indian goalscorer’s list this season along with Sunil Chhetri. Both have scored 4 goals in 13 games. Halicharan Narzary has been scoring for Hyderabad FC when they needed him the most and this game might be a tie-breaker for both the players.

Mohammad Yasir, the 22-year-old has been the most supportive Indian midfielder for Hyderabad FC this season. He has been piercing through the opposition’s midfield and defence using his skills and dribbles. He has created many chances for Hyderabad FC this season and he has two assists on his name.

3 FOREIGN PLAYERS TO LOOK OUT FOR

Cleiton Silva, Joel Chianese and Odei Onaindia are the foreign players to look out for.

Cleiton Silva is an important forward for the Blues, he has 4 goals and 2 assists to his name this season. Silva along with Chhetri have caused a lot of troubles for the opponents and they will continue to do so against Hyderabad FC.

Even though Joel Chianese missed a lot of matches at the beginning of the season, he is the most intelligent player among all the players who play for the Nizams, he knows when to drop deep, when to stay in the midfield to confuse the opponents and give decisive passes which led to goals. He will cause a lot of trouble for Bengaluru FC’s defence.

Odei Onaindia is the only foreign player who has played all the matches for the Nizams. He has played a whooping 1170 minutes this season. He is the most disciplined defender this season with only 9 fouls and 1 yellow card. His clearances are the only reason why the Nizams have been unbeaten in their last five games.

INJURIES.

Hyderabad FC has two of their players injured and one out of the bubble due to personal reasons. Nikhil Poojary and Lluis Sastre are the injured players, Souvik Chakraborthy is out of the bubble.

Bengaluru FC has no injured players except for Ashique but they don’t have Dimas Delgado with him as he went back to Spain due to personal reasons.

HEAD TO HEAD.

The Nizams and the Blues have faced each other three times where the Blues have won once and the other two games were a draw. The game they played against each other this season was a draw.

PREDICTIONS

Both Hyderabad FC and Bengaluru FC have not won any games in their last three matches, both will be trying to win this game. As Joao Victor just came back from the injury and Roland Alberg not being able to perform up to the mark, the defence of Hyderabad is a bit shaky, so based on the squad strength we predict a win for Bengaluru FC.
