Match Preview: Kerala Blasters FC v/ Chennaiyin FC – Team News, Injuries, Predicted Squad and Results

-

Kerala Blasters FC are set to take on Chennaiyin FC in the Southern Derby in what looks to be the second last match for the Kerala based club in this season of ISL. Chennaiyin FC is coming after a draw whereas Kerala Blasters FC is coming after a whopping loss which resulted in Kibu Vicuña parting ways with the club.

Let’s dive into the match details of #KBFCCFC.

INJURIES AND TEAM NEWS

For Kerala Blasters FC, Nishu Kumar and Sahal Abdul Samad looks to be unavailable for the team selection whereas Facundo Pereyra has made his way back to the training ground.

For Chennaiyin FC, Anirudh Thapa is fit to play. Aman Chetri is ruled out with a broken finger.

THREE INDIANS AND FOREIGNERS TO LOOK-OUT FOR

Edwin Vanspaul, Lallianzuala Chhangte, Ayush Adhikari

Edwin Sydney Vanspaul and Lallianzuala Chhangte were monumental for the Chennaiyin FC side in their previous game with Lallianzuala Chhangte scoring a goal and Edwin Sydney Vanspaul providing an assist.
Ayush Adhikari made his debut for Kerala Blasters FC on their previous game and put forth quite a good impression even though he only got lesser time for himself to play in that match.

Manuel Lanzarote, Jakub Sylvester, Facundo Pereyra

Manuel Lanzarote scored his first goal for the Chennaiyin FC side in their previous match and Jakub Sylvester, in the same match, provided an assist for his team. They will be a good duo to watch out for.
Facundo Pereyra has made his way back to the training ground and the fans will be psyched to see him back at the pitch, since he has provided his side with a lot of goal-scoring chances.
