The two West Coast giants are all set to lock horns in a scrumptious reverse fixture affair. Tabletoppers Mumbai City FC will be facing the challenge of fifth placed FC Goa who will be seeking a vengeance at the GMC Stadium, Bambolim.

Ahead of tonight’s game, the squad balance seems to be skewed in favour of the islanders as the gaurs will account for a significant absentee in Brandon Fernandes. The arrival of Adil Khan, Amarjit Singh Kiyam and Glan Martins has propitiated the fans, but coach Juan will have to make a wise pick from a set of very eclectic choices.

On the other hand, coach Sergio Lobera will aim to solidify Mumbai’s stance on the summit also clinching a double over his former side. Having his core intact, Lobera’s Mumbai City FC has been a formidable side throughout the season.

It took no time for the homeboy Adil Khan to take charge of the grim Goan defense. With pinpoint passes and crucial clearances, Adil will look forward to barge into the limelight as well as the National team contention.

The U-17 Worldcupper Amarjit Singh was a key addition to bolster FC Goa’s midfield. The youngster has already started making his mark as he scored a heading goal which was later credited to the deflection against the goalkeeper.

Ahmed Jahouh and Hugo Boumous will be crucial for Mumbai’s outing against Goa. Their dominance in the midfield can definitely turn tables in their favour. Goa’s Jorge Ortiz has been in a phenomenal form and his performance in the final third has majorly influenced his team’s results.
