ISL – Mumbai City FC signs Gurkirat Singh from Indian Arrows

The ISL champions have roped in promising Indian Arrows left-back Gurkirat Singh, IFTWC can exclusively confirm.

The Islanders have roped in Gurkirat on a long-term contract. The youngster from Punjab can play as a left-back as well as a left-winger. Gurkirat was one of the most consistent players for Indian Arrows last season.

Gurkirat Singh has been part of the Indian national team’s youth setup for a long time. He played a crucial role in India in the AFC U16 Championship in 2018, where India missed out on a world cup spot by a whisker. In his stint with Indian Arrows, He also captained the side in few games. His first goal in the Hero I-League came against Churchill Brothers.

The Islanders have started to strengthen their squad after losing key players like Hugo Boumous and Amrinder Singh.
