A frustrating loss for Bengaluru FC as ATK Mohun Bagan notches a win with ease with a two goal margin lead. Bengaluru FC failed to score tonight, and Roy Krishna and Marcelinho helped ATK Mohun Bagan take home three points tonight.
Naushad Moosa said,
“The way we started and played till the water break, we were doing really well. I guess the players lost the motivation by that penalty. The frustration and the unnecessary fouls were noticeable, we could have controlled that.
“It’s always difficult to play against a team like ATK Mohun Bagan. They have strong defence and quality players. Initially the plans worked but as the game progressed, things didn’t work out in our favour.”
On Harmanjot Khabra’s yellow card, Naushad Moosa said,
“It was just the frustration that was acting. He didn’t mean to kill anyone, he just went for the tackle, and he may have been aggressive.”
Naushad Moosa further said that Xisco Hernandez is still not match-fit yet.
Naushad Moosa signed off.
