New Regimentations for ISL season 7:

-

  • Foreign lad’s limit
  • Salary Cap
  • Squad size

Each Isl club can have maximum of seven and minimum of five foreign players in their squad which must include atleast a single player from AFC affiliated country. Watch out the clubs making a move for a AFC affiliated player.

Salary cap remains the same as the last season of 16.5 C. Salary cap includes loan fees of the players but it excludes the transfer fees of the new signings. Another major change from last season is clubs don’t need approval from the league for the appointment of head coach and new foreign signings. Head coach must be a pro-license holder.

New rules also includes squad size upto 35. It will be interesting to see how the clubs act to the new regimentations for the next season.
