Odisha FC has officially announced the signing of Rogerio Ramos as their new goalkeeping coach ahead of the next season.
Rogerio has joined the Odisha based side on a two year deal. He has also been the goalkeeping coach for the Indian National team, different national age group teams and also for the Sudan National Team.
He has worked for clubs like EC Santo Andre SP and EC Novo Hamburgo RS in Brazil and also Mahindra United and Vasco Sports Club in India. He has also worked in Young In Academy in South Korea and NEA Salamina in Cyprus.
“I welcome Rogerio Ramos to the OFC family and I’m sure that he’ll be a very good addition to our coaching team. He has the experience of working in India and he has also spoken to the assistant coach Gerry Peyton. We all are on the same page with respect to the goalkeepers in OFC and that will be a huge advantage for all of us” said Odisha FC’s Head Coach Stuart Baxter on the new goalkeeper coach.
“I try to have full commitment with the staff, players and mainly with the goalkeepers to make this important sector of the team to work in perfect harmony with our Coach’s philosophy to get the best results possible from the team” said Mr Rogerio Ramos after his appointment.
Odisha FC seems to be almost all set in for the next season and hopefully they’ll also start announcing their new foreign signings very soon.
