Manuel Onwu is a experienced Spanish striker having played for Osasuna, Dinamo Tbilisi, Lorca and UCAM Murcia in the past. Standing 6’1″ ft tall, Onwu is definitely a big threat in the box and he has shown that while playing for the Juggernauts last season.

The former Osasuna striker was roped in by Bengaluru FC for the 6th edition of ISL but after a miserable run of performances, Bengaluru FC loaned him to Odisha FC in the winter transfer window. Manuel Onwu netted 7 goals for Odisha FC in only 4 games. He was unstoppable at the end of the season.

Onwu’s retention will definitely boost Odisha FC’s forward line. Having roped in young Indian wingers like Isak as well as presence of Jerry and Nandhakumar means no shortage of deliveries towards the target man Onwu.

After appointing former South Africa coach Stuart Baxter, Odisha FC have made some impressive signings in the transfer window. Their combination of young Indian players and experienced foreigners looks deadly. Can they finally break the jinx and make it to the top 4?
