Spanish winger and former LaLiga player Aridai Cabrera Suárez is set to join Odisha FC from UD Las Palmas, IFTWC can confirm.
“Aridai is set to join Odisha FC for the next season. The formalities should get done soon”, a close source to the development told IFTWC.
Aridai Cabrera Suárez’s previous clubs and records
The 32-year-old can play as winger, forward and midfielder, and has a wide variety of experience in his footballing career. The former LaLiga player has plied his trades for clubs such as UD Las Palmas, RCD Mallorca, Girona FC, CE Sabadell, Cultural Leonesa, Valencia CF Mestalla, and so on.
In playing for these aforesaid clubs, he has recorded a total of 403 club matches with 81 goals and 12 assists to his name in competitions such as LaLiga, Copa del Rey, Promoción LaLiga, LaLiga2, and so on.
He started his club career in 2006 and will be joining Odisha FC after his stint at UD Las Palmas. He has primarily featured in the right-wing and centre forward position, although the player has the aptness of playing as midfielder and winger in both the flanks of the pitch.
Currently, Odisha FC looks to be building a strong and tested Spanish core with players who also have the experience of playing in the ISL and winning trophies here. Odisha FC has announced Javier Hernández and Victor Mongil. Reports suggest that Héctor Rodas will also be a part of the Odisha FC contingent.
