Peter Hartley is all set to join Jamshedpur FC from Motherweel FC.
The 32 years old centre back from England was playing in the Scottish League last season with Motherwell FC. Hartley was named Motherwell captain after Carl McHugh left the club for ATK last year. Peter was a free agent before Jamshedpur FC reached an agreement with him.
He has played previously played for clubs like Sunderland and Blackpool as well. He is a Sunderland academy graduate but failed to establish himself as first choice centre back at young age. His stints with Hartlepool United and Plymouth Argyle were successful ones.
Jamshedpur FC have appointed Owen Coyle this season after his heroics with Chennaiyin FC last season. They have also roped in Jackiechand Singh from FC Goa. Peter Hartley is a experienced defender and will be a valuable addition for Jamshedpur FC. The upcoming season will be very interesting for all the Jamshedpur FC fans who have been waiting to see their team finish in the top 4 and give every other team a very tough competition for the prestigious ISL trophy.
