After a hard fought 90 minutes of an exciting game of football, the two sides had to settle for 1 point each, with lots of positives and negatives to take home for both the sides.

ATKMB would be disappointed from the fact that they lost 2 more points, coming into this match after a 3 point loss against Jamshedpur FC, and Hyderabad FC would rather be pleased to hold the defending champions to a 1-1 scoreline with a stunning 9 Indians in their team tonight with only a single substitution made.

Indian Football fans have much more than a point to take away with wonderful performances from the Indian lads from both sides, some of the mentions, of course, would be Manvir Singh the scorer, and the wall at the back for Hyderabad, Konsham Chinglensana Singh.

Without further ado, let’s have a quick look at how each player performed and what ratings they managed to earn for themselves.

ATK Mohun Bagan:

ATKMB started the match as favorites, unless, of course, Roca’s men had other plans to put them straight on back foot with some quality football. ATKMB as usual were strong at the back, even though Tiri was missing for them tonight.

Not the best of games for them, but Manvir Singh has been ever so good this season and was the man to get the solitary goal for ATKMB, but was unfortunate enough to concede a penalty which led to the equalizer of Hyderabad FC’s.

Arindam Bhattacharya 7

Arindam wasn’t tested much in the goal tonight as most of the shots kept flying off target, but was unfortunate enough to concede a goal from the penalty spot.

Pritam Kotal 7.5

Probably one of the most prominent ATKMB players on the pitch tonight, Pritam Kotal was solid as a rock at the back for his team.

Sandesh Jhingan 7

Not as much as we would expect from him, but was good enough to earn a point for his team and lead the defense line well in the absence of Tiri.

Carl McHugh 7.5

Playing in an unnatural position, Carl McHugh did ever so well at the center back position, to clear the danger from the back, for ATKMB.

Sumit Rathi 6.5

Sumit Rathi was given his first start of the season ahead of Subhasish Bose, but he was surely not near what we saw of him in the previous season of the ISL.

Prabir Das 6.5

Prabir was playing on the right hand side of the pitch in a 4-4-2 formation tonight instead of his natural Right Wing Back position, which surely effected his performance a bit, but at the same time he was lucky enough to not get a red card, for a dangerous challenge against Akash Mishra of Hyderabad FC.

Glan Martins 6.5

Playing in the middle of the park, Glan had a quite average performance to talk much about.

Edu Garcia 7.5

Delivering as he does, Edu Garcia was a key player in ATK-MB’s attacks with his top quality passes and through balls, and was by par one of the best players for ATK Mohun Bagan, on the pitch.

Brad Inman 6.5

Given his opportunity to prove his worth as a foreign signing Brad Inman for some reason surely failed to deliver tonight and had a very average game by his standards.

Roy Krishna 7.5

Fierce and bold Roy Krishna was never in doubt about a good performance, as his contributions to ATKMB is high in every game. Though he could not score a goal tonight but was ever so good in attack for ATKMB.

Manvir Singh 8

Manvir has been one of the most impressive Indian strikers so far this season. With confidence and quality, dribbling past defenders and taking shots at goal, Manvir was probably the best on the pitch tonight and was the one who got the only goal for ATKMB.

Substitutes: David Williams 7.5, Subhasish Bose 6.5, Jayesh Rane 6.5, Pronoy Halder 6.5, Michael Regin not-rated.
