Match player ratings as ATK Mohun Bagan are held to a draw by Hyderabad FC

Hyderabad FC:

Hyderabad FC went into the match with 4 of their 6 foreigners injured and out, forcing them to play with only 2 foreigners in the team. However, they were on the back foot only on pen and paper, as the Indian lads were at their very best from all experienced Subrata Pal to young Chinglensana Singh.

Hyderbad created chances but would have expected more from their forward line, as Liston ballooned quite a few chances, while Poojary was pretty average which, of course, raises a few question marks about only 1 substitution made by Hyderabad while they had players like Rohit Danu, Laldanmawia Ralte, or even young Yasir who had a wonderful game last time around.

Credits to the team’s performance along with Thangboi Singto, who was leading the team from the sidelines due to their Head Coach, Manuel Roca’s absence, who was sent off in their last match.

Subrata Paul 7.5

Spiderman, as we call him, though had a few errors but was up to his task, saving Hyderabad from quite a few dangerous attempts on goal from ATK MB.

Akash Mishra 7.5

This young lad has been consistently delivering in every match he has played so far and has done ever so well at the left back position for Hyderabad FC.

Chinglensana Singh 8

2 Hero of the Match awards in last 4 games, they said before the match, and this man was up at it for another possible Hero of the Match award. Clearances after clearances and some wonderful long balls, Sana Singh has become a household name for Hyderabad Fans already, and is a man who’s giving them hopes for a solid defense for the season.

Odei 7.5

Nothing to mention specifically as Odei has always lived up to his expectations at the back. Although, he had a few mistakes tonight but had a good game overall.

Asish Rai 7.5

Another young lad, who can’t stop impressing fans with his performances. From defense to attack, Asish Rai has been top class at the right back spot for Hyderabad FC.

João Victor 7.5

With only 2 foreigners in the team, responsibilities were high on João Victor but he didn’t fail to deliver and even stepped up to take the penalty, to score the only goal in favor of Hyderabad, tonight.

Souvik Chakrabarti 8

Brought in to the starting lineup, Shouvik did justice to his selection as he was wonderful in the center of the park for Hyderabad FC and performed ever so well for the team.

Hitesh Sharma 7.5

It has been another top day for the young lad who took on the pitch to play against his former side. His good performance continues as he delivers once again tonight after a brilliant performance in the last match as well.

Halicharan Narzary 7.5

This man is dropping surprises after surprises every game as he just can’t stop performing to his extreme. Once on the face of criticism from many fans, he’s now turning a fan favourite with consistent good performances down the left hand side of the pitch for Hyderabad FC.

Nikhil Poojary 6.5

Nikhil Poojary is known to be one of the favourites in Hyderabad FC. Although his workrate was much appreciable, but he didn’t have the best of games tonight.

Liston Colaco 7

With high expectations from him, Liston started the match for Hyderabad FC as the only striker for their team, and for the first time in the season we saw an Indian lad play as a lone striker upfront. Liston was great as always with his runs and skills but his attempted shots were mostly off target, and eventually ended up with no goals to his name at the end.

Substitutes: Lalawmpuia 6.5.
