Player Ratings – Chennaiyin FC vs ATK Mohun Bagan

Match number 42 comes to an end with a hero of the match performance from the leader of the Golden Gloves race, Arindam Bhattacharya as both teams share points after a highly contested intense 90 minutes of football.

ATK Mohun Bagan though had the better of Chennaiyin FC in majority of the second half of the game, especially the ending stages but the game was all even till halftime with opportunities begging to be slotted in from both teams.

Not to mention, Vishal Kaith and Roy Krishna were worth watching as usual, but another day and a story of close attempts from Lallianzuala Chhangte who has been doing everything right but just not the finishing, although he got a goal to his name, in Chennaiyin’s previous match against SC East Bengal.

Without further discussions, let’s have a quick look into how each player performed in tonight’s game and their ratings for their performance in the match.

Chennaiyin FC started the game on a positive note with Jakub and Crivellaro combining up well, but where somewhere lacking in utilizing Chhangte as they would do in other matches. Although Rahim Ali was in the limelight more than Chhangte tonight, but Chennaiyin probably didn’t get the result they would have wanted.

Anirudh Thapa and Vishal Kaith along with were also good at their individual roles and so did Memo step up to help his team, but all efforts seemed to not be enough for breaking the rock solid ATK Mohun Bagan Defense.

Arindam and the defense were ever so good as they have always been, and managed to take out 1 point from the match, but Habas would have liked to steal away all 3 points at the last moment, which they are well known for, as ATK MB were mostly dominating their opponents in the ending stages of the game.

Arindam Bhattacharya 8.5
