Sergio Lobera made some changes in the lineup on rotational basis as Cy Goddard, Sarthak Golui and Farukh Choudhary made way for Bipin Singh, Vignesh Dakshinamurthy and Ahmed Jahouh who returned from his suspension. The Islanders put on a show as Adam Le Fondre’s brace and Hernan Santana’s strike was enough to give Mumbai the 3 points.

SC East Bengal lost their second match on the trot as the skipper Danny Fox was subbed off early in the match after he picked up an injury.
