Sandesh Jhingan – 7

For a second game running, Jhingan gave a good performance making the three man defence very hard to break. He used his aerial advantage and strength to challenge for the ball and made 2 successful tackles, 1 interception and a massive 8 clearances. It would be difficult for any team in the league to break this trio of defence. A shrewd signing by ATK MB.

Jayesh Rane – 5.5

Jayesh was playing in the midfield 3 which was difficult to adapt for him. He made good passes in the midfield completing 71% of them. He didn’t do much to influence or initiate attacks. But it was his move he started that ended up in the first goal.

Carl McHugh – 8.5

Roy Krishna – 8

Another day, another Krishna goal. His work rate was evident from the start though ATK MB couldn’t break the opposition defence in the first half. In the second half, Krishna scored his second goal in as many matches with a wonderful strike outside the box. He continued to look for more goals till the end of the match.

Coming on in the second half, Manvir used his pace and footwork to make use of a counter attack to score from a brilliant solo run. He is just the second Indian to score this season. It is his first goal for ATK Mohun Bagan and the striker would look to add more to his tally this season in the coming matches.
