SC East Bengal registered their first ISL win with the commanding performance against Odisha FC. The first goal came from the SC East Bengal side by Anthony Pilkington in 12th minute of the game. Maghoma made the score line to 2-0 by scoring a goal in 39th minute of the game. While Odisha FC players made numerous attempts to score goals by making crosses from wings and attacking from centre. In last minutes of the game, the newly signed foreigner Bright Enobakhare scored a goal in 88th minute of the game. Unfortunately, East Bengal cannot keep the clean-sheet as due to a deflection took place into the box and the goal was recorded in name of Diego Mauricio.

Fox played an influential role defensively. He made 5 clearances and 2 successful tackles, with 1 block. He covered all the defensive areas ensuring that Odisha FC doesn’t get the chance to get into the box.

Matti Steinmann – 7.5/10

Midfielder Steinmann was seen a free role as he made runs while attacking and dropped deep down when the team defended. With 82% passing accuracy he also made 4 clearances and assisted for a goal. We rate him 7.5 for his performance.

Playing whole the first half, surprisingly Haobam made just 12 touches in the field. Neither he showed his presence in defence nor in the attacking positions.
