Novin Gurung, who had an excellent I league season with Shillong Lajong will join another I league club Real Kashmir FC. The defender who wore number 15 jersey for the Meghalayan club will look foreward to perform well for the Kashmir-based side.
THE JOURNEY SO FAR
Gurung started his footballing journey at an early age where he played for Namchi Sports Hostel. He was spotted by Shillong Lajong FC and the club signed him during Hero I league season 2016-17.
Gurung played only one match during his first season with the club.However he was able to get more playing time for Shillong Lajong as he represented the club in 37 matches in the next two seasons.
The defender who can play as a left back or right back also featured in the Hero Indian Super Cup for the Kashmir-based side.
What’s next?
Real Kashmir FC finished at third position in the Hero I league season 2018-19. With the inclusion of Novin Gurung the club may look foreward to clinch I league title in the next season.
