Sensible Transfers – Nizams, a season of reinstation for them?

-

Hyderabad FC, commonly called as Nizams, was having a dream run in the top flight division of India being the champions of coveted Indian Super League within 4 years of their inception. It was all under the valiant leadership of Spanish tactician Manolo Marquez Roca who has now taken up the role of head coach for FC Goa as they officially announced.

Apart from the exiting of Roca, Hyderabad FC will face serious trouble with the departures of crucial players like Rohit Danu as we reported earlier, Holicharan Narzary, both of them to Bengaluru FC and a tug of war is happening for the signature of most promising talent in their squad and Indian football itself, Akash Mishra. As we have reporter earlier, the arrival of Makan Chothe from FC Goa will boost the team with fresh young blood on the wings.

Here we take a look at some of the most feasible signings Hyderabad FC can complete ahead of the new season.

Khawlhring Lalmalsawma (Aizawl FC)

Nizams can sign Lalmalsawma

Lalmalsawma is a 23-year-old defender who is primarily a right back who has been donning the jersey of Aizawl for the past three seasons. He has played every minute in the past I-league campaign being a rock solid defender who is exceptional in delivering lethal balls into the final third. A player like him could be an interesting option for the Nizams in case of urgency or even being a first eleven choice surpassing Nikhil Poojary.

Buanthanglun Samte (TRAU FC)

Another 23-year-old defender, Buanthanglun Samte, who is one of the best wingbacks in past season’s I-League campign is a noteworthy campaigner who can be a valuable asset for Hyderabad FC. He played vital role in producing remarkable perfomance for the team from Manipur with two goals and assists each.

Nizams are now under serious concern for their leftback position because of the serious tug of war going on for the signature of their star player and national team defender Akash Mishra. Samte will be viable and feasible option for Hyderabad FC in this circumstance and it remains to be seen how the transfer saga will go on with Mishra.

Irfan Yadwad (FC Bengaluru United)

Nizams can sign Irfan Yadwad

Irfan Yadwad is a young sensation who has been making his name as a clinical finisher scoring 13 goals in I-League 2 this season being the top scorer of the campaign. He was also top scorer of Bengaluru Super Division netting 15 goals in 18 games. He is a natural forward who is physically built who can bury chances with ease.

Irfan hails from Goa who rose up the ranks from Goan Professional League now to Bengaluru who is aiming to find himself ready for the next step of his career. Hyderabad FC will be a splendid chance for a player like Irfan to establish himself in the top flight football.

Seilenthang Lotjem (Sudeva Delhi FC)

Hyderabad FC can sign Seilenthang Lotjem

Seilenthang Lotjem is a 19-year-old Manipur born forward who is currently donning the jersey for Sudeva Delhi FC, a side who just got relegated from Hero I-league. Lotjem is I-League’s top Indian goal scorer with 6 goals to his name who is a prolific goal scorer hailed from JCT Football Academy. He is an ambipedal player who possesses sublime skillset, ball control, dribbling and excellent finishing.

His versatality lies where when he can handle the wing positions apart from being a forward. His contributions for Sudeva can’t be ignored and Hyderbad can be a best option for Lotjem to land especailly in a situation where two wingers left the team for the Nizams.

Nizams

Hyderabad FC will be having a tough time ahead with all the departures and financial constraints is very much affecting the team as a whole. This is an ideal chance for the Nizams to pen down young talents from I-League to make the club more sustainable.
