#3 Mizoram Premier League
At 3rd we have the Mizoram Premier League. The league started in 2012, 8 years ago and Mizoram Football Association is the organizer of the league. Played with 8 teams, the top 4 teams qualify for the semifinal playoffs while the bottom team relegates to the first division. The teams just above the relegation team battle for relegation playoffs. Aizwal FC has been the most successful team with 3 titles. The league has produced many budding talents and is a sure place for the emergence of future national team stars with football in the northeast gaining popularity.
