Jamshedpur FC’s gaffer Owen Coyle said,
Jamshedpur FC was unwinnable for seven games and they have finally broken the deadlock, so this is what Owen Coyle had to say,
“Yeah it was frustrating because we weren’t playing badly, I mean we were doing outstanding up to a new year and then the two-week break didn’t help us incidentally and then we came back. I mean the games we played at first could have been easily won, we lost a couple of games, then we had two draws, two clean sheets and that gave us the platform to go forward tonight and win the game.”
Jamshedpur has become strong defensively as they have conceded zero goals in last three games and eight in the three games before that, Owen Coyle and his players worked hard in the training sessions to get better defensively.
“I had to look at things and I had to change one or two things, work very hard in the training ground. It is important to get clean sheets because that gives you the chance to then go and win games as we did tonight and one-nil could have been two or three but the three points was the most important.”
This is what Owen Coyle had to say about Laldinliana getting subbed off due to the injury.
“Laldinliana is an outstanding player, I just hope it is not a reoccurrence of the injury but let’s see and hope it is not too bad,” said Owen Coyle
The Jamshedpur FC gaffer, Owen Coyle said that he has a lot of faith in Mobashir.
“Mobashir is a fantastic young Indian talent, he is going to get better, I speak to him all the time, I actually spoke to him after the game as well, he can improve and he will improve because he works hard every day in the training, that is great to see.”
Finally, the race for the top four is heating up, how exciting is it going to be in the final month of the league for Owen Coyle?
“Well that was why it was important that we won tonight to keep the pressure on other teams obviously, the other teams ahead of us are the ones with all the advantage, they are the ones with the points, at the moment all we can do is try and continue to win games, keep the momentum building.”
Owen Coyle signed off.
