2) Bengaluru FC getting hold of the game

After the drinks break at the 30th-minute mark, Bengaluru FC started witnessing more play in their midfield, there were more attempts on attacking seen in the game. The pep talk from Marco Pezzaiuoli sure did boost the confidence of the Bengaluru-based side and it resulted in more passes in the final third and hence more shots on goal. Midfielders started dictating the game a bit more and that seemed to change the whole dynamic of the game.

3) Bengaluru FC scores, scores, scores, scores, and scores again!

After halftime, both the sides got off to a good start with an attacking mentality, but the Nepali side unquestionably was gaping not much later as at the 51st minute of the game Rahul Bheke scored an exquisite header into the back of the net from a quality delivery by Cleiton Silva through a corner.

Sunil Chhetri, of course, didn’t have any plans for settling with a one-goal lead and he netted an amazing volley at the 52nd minute of the game. Soon after the second goal, Bengaluru FC started giving more attention to their defense but didn’t stop trying to score more goals. Bengaluru FC was completely dominating the game, and Marco Pezzaiuoli was showing his quality as a coach. Bengaluru FC was giving much better through balls as the game followed and the one-touch passes were scintillating.

At the 60th minute, the Brazilian, Cleiton Silva, scored to an empty net by delightfully dribbling past the defender and the goalkeeper. That goal had just gotten Cleiton starting as he braced himself for a brace in the game and scored an amazing goal on a turn as Sunil Chettri flicked it over to him at the 62nd minute of the game.

All these goals had probably gotten Rahul Bheke thinking, “why not add one more to the tally”, and he sure did add one. At the 65th minute of the game, Bheke headed one more to the back of the net from a corner. Bengaluru FC was highly pressing all over the field and it sure did make the fuel run out in some of the players. Marco Pezzaiuoli brought about a flurry of substitutions following this.
