Techtro Swades United’s Journey en route to first ever finals of the Himachal League.

The first-ever professional club from Himachal Pradesh, Techtro Swadesh United will now be playing the finals of the Himachal League. The club topped group A, winning all four of their group stage matches gaining 12 points in the process.

It was not an easy start for the club as the the club got 2 red cards in the first match itself. However the club still managed to notch up a 2-1 win against Shiva FC. The second game of the group stage was a relatively easy one and the club notched up a comfortable 6-1 victory over their rivals Shahpur FC. The club was given a walkover in the third match with a 3-0 victory to their name as their rivals Paonta United backed out of the match.

Going into the final match of the group stage against Sai Kangara, it was a must-win game for the club as their opponents were level on points but ahead on goal difference. The club won the game 2-0 bagging goals in the 1st and 6th minute of the game and progressed to the finals of the league. The club will now be facing Himachal FC from group B who won 3 and lost 1 match in their group stages.

The winner of the final will have a chance to file their nomination for the second division I League. We might soon have a chance to see the first-ever professional football club from Himachal Pradesh playing in the I league 2. We wish Techtro Swades United all the best for their final.
