6. Alwyn George

A Tata Football Academy product, the attacking midfielder enjoyed a good playing time in India national football team before the start of Hero Indian Super League. Alwyn George was a part of FC Goa side during the inaugural season of Hero Indian Super League. Although he struggled to get a playing time in FC Goa’s starting XI,things became different when he joined Bengaluru FC in the following season. The Tata Football Academy player hasn’t been able to get enough playing time to show his potential at the highest tier of Indian Super League and failed to make further appearances for the national football team.
7. Jibon Singh

The Manipuri defender was a part of Northeast United FC’s squad that played under Ricky Herbert in the inaugural season of Hero ISL. The Wing back represented India at the U-23 level and even got a national call up. But after the outbreak of Hero ISL, things didn’t go as per his plan and he was never seen back for any of the India Super League outfit. Jibon Singh played for NEROCA FC after an unsuccessful stay with the Highlanders.
8. Manish Maithany

The former Mohun Bagan midfielder was a part of FC Pune City’s side in the first two seasons of Hero Indian Super League. The young midfielder who already represented India national football team at the under-23 level by then was one of the hot prospect of Indian Football. But over time, Manish Maithany disappeared from Indian football scenario. After his FC Pune City stay, Manish was never seen again in any Hero ISL Clubs. He last played for Southern Samity Football Club.
10. Durga Boro

Durga Prasad Boro impressed the entire Northeastern fans because of his shooting ability for the Highlanders in the inaugural season of Hero Indian Suoer League. The forward who has been a regular starter of NorthEast United FC’s squad in the starting season of Hero ISL, haven’t been able to make his further appearances in ISL after the inaugural season. He played for Guwahati FC and Ozone FC in the second division league far away from appearing for India national football team.
