The wait for ISL 2020-21 is finally over.
The Indian Super League is likely to start in the last couple of weeks of November. In the ISL Board meeting, which was held on 24th July, many important discussions regarding next season’s ISL were discussed.
The League is likely to start at end of November. Tentative dates are 20-23 November. The venue for ISL is not yet decided, athough Goa and Kerala are frontrunners to host the 7th season of ISL. Calicut, Manjeri and Kochi are the 3 venues in Kerala. Venue of ISL 7 will be decided on 7th August. Goa are more likely get the hosting rights, but the expanses will be higher than Kerala. Other guidelines like travel, accommodation, training and medical will be decided on 14th August.
The Schedule for ISL 2020-21 will be announced by 31st August. Other operational guidelines will be announced before 15th September. During the ISL 2020-21, The Covid test of players and coaching staff will be taken twice a week. No one from outside will be allowed to enter the club hotel.
Clubs will be allowed to start their preseason from the first week of October, whereas the ISL Coaches Forum will take place on 2 November. Between 5-15 November, individual club workshop will take place.
So, By the end of November, the much anticipated season 7 of the Indian Super League will start.
