Real Kashmir has roped in Brazilian marksman Tiago Adan for free on a single-year deal. The striker brings his wealth of experience to the Snow Leopards, who look to aim higher in the I-League this season.
Tiago has featured frequently in the Maltese Premier League for Hibernians FC and Floriana FC, scoring 23 goals in 63 appearances. He also has over 70 appearances in Serie-B, the second division of Brazilian football.
The Votorantim man has also featured in two UEFA Europa League qualifier matches and a Champions League qualifier. He has played 3 games in the top division of Brazilian football as well.
Real Kashmir is tipped to be one of the favorites for the I-League this season, after a third-place finish in their previous campaign, five points short of league leaders Churchill Brothers.
Coach David Robertson will expect the 33-year old to fire on all cylinders. Tiago’s aerial prowess, a clinical left foot, and a knack for picking up assists will create problems for many a defense in the I-League this season.
His game resembles that of a true modern-day striker, whose ability to hold the ball and combine with his fellow forwards makes him a prized asset for every side he plays for.
