This article covers the post-match press conference of both the gaffers and is split into two pages.
SC East Bengal was successful to hold Hyderabad FC and shared one point each. Enobakhare and Aridane registered their names in the score sheet.
SC East Bengal’s assistant coach Tony Grant addressed the media in the post-match press conference.
Speaking upon the match officials decisions, Grant said,
“Well, I don’t know if it’s unlucky. We didn’t get that penalty. This happens in every game against us. The referee was about to blow the whistle for a penalty indication but as the linesman said ‘No’. It’s because their coach said ‘No’ to the linesman the decision was changed. This is an absolute disgrace.”
“I don’t know what goes on. All I know is our manager has been wrongly sent to the stands for four games by the officials earlier. I think they should practice what they preach,” he added.
Tonu Grant commented saying,
“We took a lot of time to get into form. This is a very tough season for debutant club. We as a team need to play till the end of the season staying together and working hard.”
Grant concluded by providing an update about Sourav Das,
“He has got a tight hamstring. The boy has got through a lot of work in the last two games. We are impressed with him. We will analyze his situation in the next couple of days.”
