The Uruguayan has been one of the A-League’s finest center-forwards of all time. Known for his astonishing goal poaching quality and sharp pirouettes Bruno Fornaroli is a treat to watch. The former Sampdoria man arrived in Australia to represent the city group owned Melbourne City and was an instant hit among the fans as he netted 23 goals in his debut campaign. The talismanic striker lovingly known as El Tuna holds the record for the most consecutive appearances for the Melbourne-based side.

Fornaroli’s club record of 57 goals was broken today (13th May) by Australian striker Jamie Maclaren who is on red hot form in the ongoing A-League Season. The Ongoing season of the A-League is Fornaroli’s 2nd season away from Melbourne as he joined Perth Glory in the 19/20 season. Fornaroli is currently at 3rd position in the A-League top scorer chart with 10 goals.
