Having scored his 1st goal 9 minutes into his debut match, he made a mark in his arrival into the senior team of DSK Shivajians. He netted thrice in his next 2 games for them. He then went on to play ISL for the now disbanded team Pune City FC where he scored twice in the 14 games. He proved to be a vital player for them in that campaign.
He then signed for Hyderabad FC in the 2019-20 season where he played 9 matches scoring once and assisting once. He has now signed a 2-year deal with Kerala Blasters. Blasters are surely making a right move by signing him who is very strong in the back of the midfield and also proved to be a consistent scorer for any team he played for in the past.

He started his professional career at Royal Wahingdoh back in 2012. He signed for NEUFC back in 2014 and appeared in 69 games for them making him the most appeared footballer for them.
His presence in the back is vital for any team as his physicality and work rate is extremely good. He was a mainstay in northeast and an important part of the team. After moving to Chennaiyin the same will be expected from him.
