TRAU FC show no sign of slowing down in the transfer window as they are on the verge of signing former India U19 starlet Rinreithan Shaiza.
After an impressive debut in I-League, the Imphal based TRAU FC have added 12 new members to their squad as they hope to strengthen the squad for the up coming season. Interestingly, all the player signed so far are all local players out of which 10 plied their trade in Manipur State League last season
Rinreithan Shaiza primarily plays as an attacking midfielder and can also operate as a holding midfielder or a winger when called into action.
At age 17 he was already rubbing shoulder against the big boys when he sign for Fateh Hyderabad AFC and played for the Nizams for 3 season in I-League Second Division. During his spell with Fateh Hyderabad AFC, he was called up to the India U-19 camp on two occasion and made 5 appearance for the Blue Colt.
The 21years Old Midfielder last played for Ozone FC in I-League Second Division and BDFA Super Division. He had a fruitful campaign in the Hero Second Division league in which he made 8 appearances and also registered a goal to his name as they qualified for the final round after topping their group undefeated, but failed to gain promotion as they settled for the third place.
In spite of the fact that he is still in his early days as a footballer, he has already gained a lot of experience since his debut in 2017 and would bring with him alot of experience for TRAU FC if they finally sign one of Manipur’s hottest prospect.
