WATCH: NorthEast United team members erupt in celebrations after nervy last moments of Chennaiyin-Jamshedpur encounter

Guwahati: NorthEast United created history as the club managed to make it to the playoffs for the first time in their history, thanks to a goalless draw between Chennaiyin FC and Jamshedpur FC.

The match was a must-win encounter for JFC but hosts managed to keep the attackers at bay for the entire 90 minutes.

NEUFC players and coach Eelco Schattorie watched the entire encounter and had nervy last moments before their playoff spot was confirmed, post which they erupted in celebrations.
