Kerala Blasters have completed the signing of Spanish midfielder Juande and the player is likely to arrive in Goa tomorrow, IFTWC can confirm.
Juan de Dios Prados López, popularly known as Juande, plied his last trade at Perth Glory for two years. The 34-year-old started his career at Real Betis’ reserve side in 2005, getting himself promoted to the first team in just two years. He moved to Granada CF in 2011 on loan, and found himself later plying his trade for clubs like Ponferradina. In 2018, he joined Perth Glory and has scored 2 goals for them in over 40 appearances for the club. He has also played for the Under-21 side of Spain National Team.
Kerala Blasters have started poorly this season and are yet win their first game of the season. They have struggled both offensively as well as defensively. A player like Juande can sit in front of the back four and give more solidity to the team.
The former La Liga and A-League player will be a really important and key addition to the Blasters’side as he will have some responsible shoes to fill in for the Yellow Army.
